Well, it’s that time of year again- snowmobiling season! Time to hit the trails and have a chance to make a difference with something I love! This will be the fourth consecutive year for me to have an opportunity to join many other riders in a great fundraiser to help cancer patients. I will be riding 700 miles in one day on my snowmobile February 14th and then two days later on February 16th I will be riding 500 miles in under twenty-four hours. The Keller Family Foundation was started after Nick Keller’s mom passed away from cancer. Their family has been raising money since 2009 to help cancer patients with expenses, specifically travel expenses, in order to get the best care possible with the best doctors in the country. I have personally known so many more who have been diagnosed with cancer just since the last time this fundraising ride happened a year ago. If I were to guess I would say that you have too and possibly some that have passed away. I am asking you to join with me in raising money for this foundation. If you would be willing to make a donation you can mail me a check that is made out to The Keller Family Community Foundation or donate securely right here on this page. My goal is $1,000 by February 7th. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and for considering joining me in helping this great cause. If you pray I would also appreciate your prayers on February 14th and 16th as these rides can be dangerous for many reasons. Sincerely, Beth Lowery
As a part of the Snowball Cancer Challenge 2023, Nick and a group of riders on Feb 9, 2023 and Feb 16, 2023 will attempt to ride 500+ miles in ONE DAY – The Valentine 500. These riders will obtain pledges and donations to keep them motivated on their long ride(s). The money raised will go to the Keller Family Community Foundation to support their mission. All donations will be tax deductible.
