My motivation to ride 500 miles in one day.... 2025 was my first year of doing this ride, which I did in memory of my father in-law who lost his battle with cancer in 2023. This year I am doing it again as this terrible disease has taken a lifelong friend from me, and has two other friends battling it. This year will be special as my 13 year old son (14 by the ride) will be joining me. We just want to do our part to help those battling cancer!
As a part of the Snowball Cancer Challenge 2026, Nick and a group of riders on Feb 5, 2026 and Feb 12, 2026 will attempt to ride 250+ or 500+ miles in ONE DAY – The Valentine ride. These riders will obtain pledges and donations to keep them motivated on their long ride(s). The money raised will go to the Keller Family Community Foundation to support their mission. All donations will be tax deductible.
