YEAR LEGACY 3 3
Dear Friends and Family,

I'm excited to share that I'm once again participating in the Snowball Cancer Challenge, an incredible snowmobile event that raises funds to directly support families battling cancer.

This year, on February 12, 2026, I'll be joining a group of riders attempting a challenging 250+ or 500+ mile ride in a single day as part of the Valentine Ride. Our collective goal is ambitious, and with your help, we hope to make a significant impact.

What makes this fundraiser so special is that 100% of the donations go straight to families in need — no large overhead or executive salaries. Funds are used to purchase gas cards and other essential support, delivered in person to patients and families at hospitals like American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI, and facilities in the Minneapolis area. This year, we're also establishing permanent Endowment Funds to provide ongoing assistance forever. Last year was Lusier Children’s family hospital associated with Northwestern in Chicago and this year most notably Froedert Milwaukee Medical College of Wisconsin (one of my clients at work!).

Cancer has touched my family deeply: my mom, Jane, and my late dad, Larry, as well as my late grandfather, Frank, all faced this disease. That's why this cause means so much to me.

Each rider commits to raising at least $1,000 to participate, and I'm reaching out to ask if you'd consider sponsoring me. Your contribution, no matter the size, will go directly to the Keller Family Community Foundation and is fully tax-deductible.

I've been involved with this ride for years, volunteering as both a rider and rescue driver. To give you a sense of the adventure (and the unpredictable winter weather!), here are highlight videos from past years: * 2023 Highlight: https://vimeo.com/833708317 * 2022 Highlight: https://vimeo.com/692927528 * 2021 Highlight: https://vimeo.com/535014154 (The 2026 video is coming soon!)

I first discovered this event through my high school friend Mike, who introduced me to snowmobiling and to the late Nick Keller, the founder whose passion and world-record mileage inspired it all.

On ride days, you can follow our progress online via the tracker: https://donate.snowballcancer.org/tracker/win.html

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for considering a donation. I completely understand if you're unable to contribute right now — your thoughts and prayers for the riders, the families, and everyone affected by cancer mean the world.

With gratitude, Matt
As a part of the Snowball Cancer Challenge 2026, Nick and a group of riders on Feb 5, 2026 and Feb 12, 2026 will attempt to ride 250+ or 500+ miles in ONE DAY – The Valentine ride. These riders will obtain pledges and donations to keep them motivated on their long ride(s). The money raised will go to the Keller Family Community Foundation to support their mission. All donations will be tax deductible.
