John Krell
I ride in honor of my Grandpa Jerry Hoogland (2010) and Grandma Ardith Krell (2021) who were lost to cancer, my mom, Jennifer Krell who courageously fought off breast cancer in 2014 and countless friends and acquaintances who were forced to fight. The challenge of riding 500 or 700 miles in one day is incomparable to the physical, mental and financial burden cancer patients endure. My ride will be a time of focus, reflection and prayer for all who, without choice, will face a much greater challenge. I sincerely thank you all for your support.
As part of the Snowball Cancer Challenge 2026, Nick Keller’s Valentine Ride will continue in his memory. On February 5, 2026 and February 12, 2026, a group of riders will attempt to ride 250+ or 500+ miles in ONE DAY. These riders will obtain pledges and donations to keep them motivated on their long ride(s).
The money raised will go to the Keller Family Community Foundation to support its mission.
