Erik Krebs
Erik loves three things in life: his kids, snowmobiling, and his family…..and the order of those things depends on how much snow is on the ground. Erik loves taking snowmobiling trips “up north”as many times a year as he can, with a goal of riding as many miles as he can each year. In 2021, Erik had a great time up in Hurley, but came home feeling very sick (more than normal anyway). A few months later, he was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Erik underwent six months of strong chemotherapy with his last treatment being just before Thanksgiving, and you can bet he hit the snowmobile trails as soon as there was enough snow as he waiting to see if the chemo did what it’s supposed to do….so far, so good, but those who have had cancer understand that life revolves around oncology appointments, lab work, and scans for years after their last treatment. Erik had heard about the Snowball Cancer Challenge prior to being diagnosed with cancer, and now he’s ready to rack up miles to help raise money for others fighting their big fight. As a part of the Snowball Cancer Challenge 2023, Erik will attempt to ride 500+ miles in ONE DAY. He asks for pledges and donations to keep him motivated on their long ride. The money raised will go to the Keller Family Community Foundation to support their mission of assisting cancer patients with travel/fuel expenses for oncology related appointments. All donations will be tax deductible.
As a part of the Snowball Cancer Challenge 2025, Nick and a group of riders on Feb 6, 2025 and Feb 13, 2025 will attempt to ride 500+ miles in ONE DAY – The Valentine 500. These riders will obtain pledges and donations to keep them motivated on their long ride(s). The money raised will go to the Keller Family Community Foundation to support their mission. All donations will be tax deductible.
